Description Original RACS Animal Cage Floors Veterinarians have been using Original animal cage floors for well over forty years. Now they offer even more headspace because we decreased the leg height. The surface is elevated at approximately 2.25″. A glossy brown plastisol (polyvinyl) coating covers the entire floor. This includes the sled-runner-style legs. The plastisol coating provides a comfortable and warm resting area. In addition, no additional support is needed for this self-supported cage floor. Large cage grates have a center sled-runner leg for added support. Furthermore, they are designed to be lightweight, durable, and easy to clean. Use papers and bedding, if desired, and change them without disturbing the animal in the cage. New! Same style – Shorter Legs for more headspace! Standard sizes of the Original RACS cage floor are available to fit most manufactured cages. However, if we don’t have the size you require, custom floors can be ordered. See the standard size chart below. The Original Cage Floor is self-supported and has an expanded metal top surface. In addition, the entire floor has a glossy brown plastisol coating.
