The technology is a process also known as low-level light therapy (LLLT) or red light therapy. Research shows that exposure to specific red, blue, UV, and infrared light wavelengths can stimulate cells essential for healing (fibroblasts and endothelial cells). The increased blood flow, and anti-inflammatory action results in tissue healing and pain reduction. Research suggests that exposure to these wavelengths, delivered by LED light, can reduce inflammation.
