Description The Otto Equine Solarium Light Therapy System is a new and unique way to speed healing, reduce pain, and increase performance for your horse. The science behind the Solarium  involves a process also known as low-level light therapy (LLLT) or red light therapy. Testing demonstrates  that exposure to specific red and infrared light wavelengths stimulates the cells essential for healing (fibroblasts and endothelial cells). The increased blood flow along with anti-inflammatory action results in tissue healing and pain reduction.  Research suggests that exposure to these wavelengths, delivered by LED light, can reduce inflammation. This proves invaluable in the management of musculoskeletal injuries such as tendonitis, ligament strains, and muscle soreness. By reducing inflammation and promoting blood circulation, LED therapy aids in the delivery of oxygen and nutrients to damaged tissues, while expediting the removal of metabolic waste products.
