Product Information This is a lovely Clarice Cliff CANDY STRIPE banded Bon Jour shape Tea for Two teaset with conical cups & saucers and a small side plate. Art Deco original, circa 1934. Nicely decorated in pastel colours, which have been confidently applied in a circular design to all pieces. All pieces are in good condition with no chips, cracks or stains. There has been a small area of professional restoration to the edge of the sugar bowl and also a little to the teapot lid. Both have been expertly applied and are virtually invisible, but only fair to mention. These complete sets are becoming more scarce and this one is a superb example of Art Deco design. The height of the teapot is 14cm and the plates/saucers are 15cm diameter. All pieces are stamped Bizarre by Clarice Cliff and the saucers/plate have impressed date stamps (indistinct) for 1934.
