This ewe and lamb feed provides extra protein and energy alongside roughage. As a result, it helps improve lamb growth, support milk production and maintain body condition in ewes and other sheep. Nutritional Analysis (As Fed) Energy (ME): 10.80 MJ/kg Protein: 16.20% Calcium: 1.30% Phosphorus: 0.65% Fibre (max): 10.00% Sodium (max): 2.50% Feeding Guidelines Introduce this sheep feed gradually over 14 to 21 days. Avoid feeding above 1.00% of live body weight unless carefully managed, with 1.50% of live body weight as the upper limit. Ewes in lamb may be fed around 0.50 to 1.00 kg per head per week, while weaners may be fed around 0.50 to 1.00 kg per head per day depending on condition and growth targets. Feeding Management Ensure pasture and or hay remains available at all times, with daily roughage intake making up at least 1.50% of live body weight to support gut health and reduce the risk of acidosis. Where self feeders are not used, pellets can be fed on alternate days to help avoid slug feeding. Always provide cool, clean water.
