- Larger King Sportster style gas tank for early evolution Sportsters. Uses 22mm petcock and later screw in style gas cap 1132 King tank is approximately 2″ wider than the stock gas tank. Note: These tanks must be pre-mounted on the frame to verify compatibility of all related parts before painting. Gas caps and fuel valve are not included. Details: 1982 through 2003 3.1 gallon tank Tunnel 31-/2″ high x 2″ wide Tank 17″ long x 10-3/4″ wide Petcock on the right side of tank, when mounted on bike, from the rider position.
