- The S&S Shorty Carb has become one of the most popular aftermarket carbs for a reason- they work, really well. The Super G has a 2.0625″ throat at the butterfly and a 1.75″ Venturi and is recommended for use on 90-cubic-inch and larger high-performance and modified engines. The G is not recommended for stock, smaller, or lower compression engines. Individual carburetor only Super G has a 2.0625″ throat at the butterfly and a 1.75″ Venturi Super G is not recommended for smaller, lower compression engines If there is a doubt as to which carburetor to use, S&S suggests the 1.875″ Super E Made in the U.S.A.
